Jessi McEwen (She/Her/Hers) Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) CRPO
I strive to offer a compassionate, affirming, and collaborative approach that honors an individual’s unique experiences and needs. I’m deeply committed to discovering the innate strengths, gifts, and resources that every person carries, which play a crucial role in their healing and growth. I have a special interest in working with individuals aged 18 + who seek to reduce stress and anxiety, improve relationships, and achieve personally meaningful goals. My person-centred approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and mindfulness. I have a strong passion for equity and social justice, and my work is guided by a holistic, trauma-informed perspective. I believe healing and growth are nurtured in respectful, collaborative, and responsive relationships, and I’m particularly interested in how attachment patterns and the systems we belong to shape our ways of being. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, practicing yoga, reading, crocheting, walking in the forest, and spending as much time floating on boats and paddleboards as possible. If my approach feels aligned with your needs, I’m available for in-person or virtual appointments on evenings and weekends. Please connect with me for a free consultation, or check out the app to book an appointment.
