Hello! My name is Rachelle Livingstone. I am a registered psychotherapist (CRPO) with almost 20 years of experience working in the counselling field. I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages. I am currently focusing on working with people 18+.
Over the years, I have participated in ongoing professional development in many areas, including completion of the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute (CTRI) certificate program, training related to First Nations, Inuit, and Metis wellness, and a certificate in Ecotherapy through an Indigenous Lens, walk-and-talk therapy and Reclaiming ResilienceL Rewind Trauma Training, through Cherry Tree Counselling. I also have training and experience in providing clinical supervision. In addition, I have worked in the developmental field, specializing in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). I also have experience working in Indigenous communities, health care organizations, and educational facilities.
I strive to provide culturally safe, trauma-informed care and honour Indigenous healing practices. I embrace a person-centered, strength-based, collaborative, holistic wellness approach. I draw from many therapeutic modalities, including solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
