I am a compassionate Registered Social Worker with over five years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities across mental health, addiction, and medical settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work, accredited by the Canadian Association of Social Workers.
I have worked in diverse clinical and community-based environments, including hospital settings, community mental health services, and psychiatric rehabilitation programs. My experience includes individual and group counselling, clinical assessment, case management, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented support for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use concerns, trauma, grief, and complex mental health challenges.
My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred, and strength-based approaches. I believe that healing begins with a safe, respectful, and trusting therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges at their own pace. I am committed to promoting resilience, dignity, and holistic well-being while supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals.
I am a certified Mental Health First Aid Facilitator through the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and can be contracted to do this with organization or individuals who need this service.
I offer services in English, Tamil, Malayalam, in person, virtually, or over the phone.
I see all ages.
